12th Class number 204 was one of two locomotives returned to working order by ZECO in
Bulawayo. They were improved with roller bearings, second hand from scrapped 20th Class
Garratts.
2008 - This locomotive is now in use on the Bushtracks / Southern Sun dinner train that runs
over a short section of ex-Zambesi Sawmills railway.

Class 16A # 620 was purchased from Zambia
Railways in 1990 and sent to Zeco in Bulawayo
for refurbishment including the fitting of roller
bearings. It left Livingstone on 03 June 1990 and
arrived at ZECO in August. It was returned to
ZCCM in Zambia in March 1991 and entered
service with ZCCM Nkana Division on 13 April
1991.
It is believed that its normal job when in use was
on the South Ore Body run, but it did work on the
Mindolo ore run on occasions.
The initial intention was to have two locos, but
the second one, 623, never left Livingstone.
