Raven Square Station 2006 25 years

The Welshpool Area Group through meetings and social events brings together individuals (especially those within the SY21 postal area) with the aims of providing fellowship, encouraging membership and practical involvement with the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway Preservation Company Limited and providing support and visibility for the Railway within the local community. Specifically WAG will: Arrange meetings and events locally to stimulate interest in the W & LLR Promote the W & LLR within the SY (and particularly SY21) postcode areas Endeavour to attract new members to the W & LLR and obtain additional volunteers to assist in the running of the Railway Act as a project team to offer assistance in the maintenance and development of Welshpool (Raven Square) Station
